本文主要分析了2001-2016年间《人民日报》《南方都市报》《华西都市报》《新 京报》和《东方早报》刊登的新闻评论中有关医患矛盾的隐喻运用，发现常用的原型隐 喻包括“疾病隐喻”“战争隐喻”“人体隐喻”“金钱/买卖隐喻”“方位隐喻”“家 庭隐喻”和“火的隐喻”。本文研究表明，一方面，隐喻的使用强调了医患合作是解决 医患纠纷的关键；另一方面却遮蔽了医患矛盾的深层次原因，比如政府在医保方面的资 金投入不足，医疗机构及医生们受利润驱使，以及缺乏保护患者权利的有效机制等。

This paper analyzes metaphor use regarding doctor-patient conflict in five Chinese mainstream newspapers: People's Daily, Southern Metropolis Daily, West China Metropolis Daily, The Beijing News, and Oriental Morning Post. We found the most frequently used metaphors include disease, war, human body, money/business, orientation, family, and fre. This study shows that the use of metaphors highlights cooperation between doctors and patients as the key means to resolve the issue of doctor-patient con?ict, while ignoring the more important causes and ways to address the issue, e.g., insuffcient government funding in health care, the proft-driven feature of medical institutions and doctors, and a lack of effective mechanisms that protect patient rights.
