This study uses the citation of award-winning works of the Pulizer Prizes for Journalism from 1917 to 2016 as the object of study. As a professional review on the winning works by the Pulitzer PrizeBoard, the word frequency of the citation has a certain stability and continuity in a hundred years, while there are differences in the word frequency of the citation in administration of different presidents and different political parties. To some extent, the Pulitzer Prize Board of the Pulizer Prizes for Journalism has been following and appropriately adjusting its professional standard, thereby influencing the construction of the highest honor system in American journalism- Pulizer Prizes for Journalism.
