全球化与国族主义并重的时代，我们怎么理解美剧的中国受众一边兴致勃勃收看美剧，一边坚持着强烈的国族主义观念？通过访谈和观察，本文发现，美剧的中国受众无论是坚持参照式解读或者批评式解读，都不会挑战他们自身强大的国族主义理念。中国受众对于美剧里涉华元素的解读，受到了国族主义的强烈影响，收看美剧与其说是自变量，不如说是因变量。本文并且对造成这一现象的原因进行解释。表面看似冲突实际并行不悖的全球化与国族主义，已经在当下中国年轻受众群体里呈现出了复杂而深刻的媒介图景。

The era of globalization has already spurred the resurgence of nationalism. This study aims to interpret the contradictory among Chinese audience of American TV drama who like to regularly watch American TV drama as well as keep the strong nationalism at the same time. Based on face-to-face interviews and long-term online observation, this study fnds that, no matter how to decode the American TV drama, these Chinese audiences would refuse to self-challenge the dominant nationalism. Their interpretations of Chinese elements in American TV drama are signifcantly affected by nationalism. Watching American TV drama is not an independent variable, instead, it is a dependent variable.
