Media AgendaAnalysis of Global Issue in Political Campaign: News Coverage on Climate Issues in American Presidential Election of The New York Times

From 2008 Presidential Election till the pre-primary period of 2016 Election, 234 articles in the New York Times were found related to climate change or global warming. Study shows although Republican candidates consist larger parts of source in the New York Times, Democratic candidates exert greater effect on the reporting frames of climate issues. The campaigning of policy-suggestions is the most popular frame on this issue.
