摘要

议程设置、框架理论和铺垫理论是三个经常被共同讨论的理论模式。从传播学史看,它们都
为研究媒介内容与公众意见的关系提供了新的视角和方法。其中,铺垫理论借鉴了心理学概念,
从微观角度探讨了议程设置如何发生的过程。然而,这一理论在从心理学借用到传播学领域的过
程中,由于缺乏方法和成熟的范式、以及研究对象的不同,其原初意义和应用环境都发生了迁
移,这也使得传播学者对铺垫效果的关注相对有限。

Abstract

Agenda setting, news framing and priming effect are the three mostly discussed theoretical models
in communication field. In historical view, all of them once provided new approaches and methodologies
to the research on the relationship between media content and public opinion. Among them, priming effect
is originated from cognitive psychology and explains how agenda setting happens from a microscopic
perspective. However, priming effect has been faced with the problems of methodology, paradigm shift
and research subject when it was applied to communication studies. Due to different research contexts,
communication scholars have not paid much attention to priming effect.
