摘要

冲突与融合是跨文化传播的两大旋律,冲突既是融合的阻力,也是融合的动力,什 么样的冲突往往造就什么样的融合。佛教在华传播作为中国跨文化传播史上的重大事 件,它与中国本土的儒家和道教先后经历了深层次的理论冲突、身份冲突、权力冲突。 在理论上,儒释道围绕各自价值观念展开公共辩论,为三家理论的调和奠定了基础。在 身份上,佛教曾困于自己的外来身份,然而它与胡的身份纠缠既是民族认同的力量,又 成为了佛教传播的契机。而权力上的冲突则最终规范了儒释道的功能分区,也奠定了中 国传统文化的基本传播秩序。

Abstract

Conflict and integration are the two major melodies of cross-cultural communication.Conflict is not only the resistance of integration, but also the motive force of integration, and what kind of conflict often brings up what kind of integration. The spread of Buddhism in China, as a major event in the history of Chinese cross-cultural communication, has experienced deep theoretical conflicts, identity conflicts and power conflicts with the Chinese native Confucianism and Taoism. In theory, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism launched a public debate around the core values. In identity, the entanglement between Buddha and Hu is not only the strength of national identity, but also the opportunity for Buddhism to spread. The conflict of power finally standardized the functional division of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and established the basic communication order.
