在当前VR的热潮中，相关的哲学研讨并未引起足够重视，并从而导致了VR概念在应用中的广泛争议和分歧。本文通过对关于VR的四个重要哲学维度的评析，探究其基本实质。在本文作者看来，VR作为借助现代计算机技术生成的数据化虚拟空间，其本质是纯粹的信息；建构VR的虚拟化手段的性质并不是简单的形式模拟，而是利用电子媒介技术让使用者获得与在外界物理空间或理想化幻觉空间中等同的感官体验，而且这种具有等效性的虚拟化是人类媒介技术的共性；使用者在VR空间中的沉浸体验来自于其自身在媒介界面上与数据化信息空间发生的融合；人类与信息和机器的融合将导致其向具有混合主体和后人类性质的赛博格形态转变。

In the current boom of Virtual Reality, or VR, the related philosophical research has not attracted enough attention yet, leading to the wide controversy and divergence about the concept of VR. In this article, in order to find out the basic essence of the VR, its four important philosophical dimensions are discussed. As concluded by the author, born with the help of modern computer technology, VR is a digital virtual space, whose essence is pure information.Far more than just simple formal simulation, the nature of virtualization is using electronic media technology to give the users an equal sensory experience as what they can get in the outside physical space or idealized illusion space, and this kind of virtualization, which has functional equivalence, is common in human media technology. Users’ immersive experience in VR space comes from their own fusions on the media interface with the digital information space. As a result of the fusion of human, information and machine, human beings will transform to the cybernetic organism cyborg, which has the character of hybrid subject as well as the posthuman.
