“仪式传播”和“传播的仪式观”中的“仪式”概念具有同样的涵义，但“仪式传播”外延更为宽泛，涵盖“传播的仪式观”。“媒介仪式”也属于“仪式传播”研究范畴。
The meaning of ritual in ‘ritual communication’ and ‘a ritual view of communication’ is the same. The range of the concept of ‘ritual communication’ is wider than and covers the one of ‘a ritual view of communication’. ‘Media rituals’ also should be ranked as ‘ritual communication’.
