本文从技术及政治层面考察了中国网络公共空间的特性，认为中国网络公共空间从技术层面上是传统媒体与新媒体在先锋话语上合作的结果，并受新闻专业主义的影响；从构成群体来看，主要以中间阶层为主;中国网络公共空间的理想路径在于探索并生成一个政府与公众协商的机制和平台。本文也认为中国网络公共空间的局限性主要表现在构成其主体的自身的局限性上。

This paper explores the characteristics of public space in network of China from technological to political aspects. It argues that the public space in network of China is the result of cooperation between traditional media and new media and it is influenced by journalistic professionalism. The ideal model for the public space network is to explore and create a deliberative democracy system between government and the public. The paper also holds the view that the limitations of the public space network in China mainly caused by the limitations of its component.
