媒介的意识形态批判抑或受众研究:霍尔模式的现象学分析
The Criticism of Media or The Audience Study: Phenomenological Analysis of the Hall Model
一般理解,霍尔模式开启了受众研究之门。本文却认为霍尔模式最终澄明了意识形态编码对于受众解码的意义限制,并揭示了诸文化形式、尤其是大众传播媒介的意识形态本质,进而指向了对媒介的意识形态批判之路。霍尔模式所提出的三种解码策略对于真实受众的发现并无帮助。从现象学角度分析霍尔模式能够对其进行补充,赋予受众研究理论上和操作上的可能性。
General understanding of the Hall Model opens the door to the Audience Research. But the Huall Model ultimate proof that the encording of the Ideology gives the decording of the Audience’s limits, And reveals the various Cultural Forms, particularly the Ideological nature of the Mass Media, and then turn to the road of the Ideology criticism of the Media. The Hall Model is given for the three decoding strategy that does not help to find the real audience. Phenomenological Analysis to give the Audience Reseach the possibility of theory and operation, and the Hall Model can be supplemented the Audience Research.
