Abstract
The accelerated development of many new technologies and applications such as metaverse and artificial intelligence not only highlights many problems and contradictions between people, technology and society, but also has a subversive impact on the information dissemination structure of the current society. The new media research in 2022, in response to the above- mentioned problems, has carried out in-depth thinking and exploration at different levels such as social practice, technical philosophy and ethics. This paper summarizes the themes of new media-related research papers in core journals of journalism and communication in 2022, and extracts five major topics: metaverse research, embodied communication research, digital human and social robot research, human-machine communication research, health code And data research, and give a brief review by category, in order to provide some reference and reference for relevant researchers through this limited sorting and integration.
