Regarding calculation-based intelligent communication activities, our proposed epistemological reflections do not just treat these activities as objectivity or intuitionistic forms, but regard them as “perceptual human activities and understand them as practice” so as to interpret the practical strategies and tactics triggered by the problem itself, to explore the ways to interpret its sense and achieve it, and thereby anticipate a new epistemology with its methodology. This article tries to start from the historical path of epistemology, to propose how to distinguish the subject of knowledge from the object of knowledge, to review the communicational paradigmatic revolution brought about by the rise of cybernetics, to investigate both calculating layers and conscious boundary from the perspective of cognitive science, to distinguish the new epistemological platforms by intersecting social communication and machine’s consciousness, and to call for constructive capacities of reality construction, informational evaluation, and abstract thinking.
