Abstract

Media archaeology is a new direction of media study. This article is a dialogue with Prof. Huhtamo, who represents the forefront of this feld. In this article, Prof. Huhtamo shared the story about how he made his path into media archaeology, and analyzed the genealogy and value of media archaeology study. This article can certainly help scholars to further understand media archaeology, clear its theoretical origins, development venation and involving areas, hence help scholars to make their own characteristics research of media archaeology.
