Abstract

The communication is a discipline with less self-governing and autonomy. No matter from the perspective of Chinese communication studies or at the western point of view, the development of communication studies was considerably affected by the preferential disciplines, thus obviously demonstrates the anxiety of influence. The core reason can trace back to the subjectivity deficiency of communication studies, especially for the development of Chinese communication studies where the anxiety of influence is multiplicity and ubiquitous, the problem of subjectivity absence is more prominent in China. Solving the subjectivity problem of communication studies, including the communication studies in China still has long way to go, thus the researches need to bear more efforts and put their eyes on the future.
