As a crucial part of data journalism,data journalism education deserves more attention. This article will explore data journalism education at a multi-national level. It will first focus on the characteristics of data journalism education worldwide, namely, 1) who teaches data journalism, 2) what is taught and 3) how data journalism is taught. After offering an overview of global data journalism education, this article will analyze six factors that hinder the development of data journalism education and explore the potential ways data journalism can be taught in the future.
