Abstract

As a case orientation research method, Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) has been widely spread and applied on social science research in recent 20 years. In this article, first we had an introduction and analysis on its research logic and applicable environment, then four research orientations were proposed to envision the application prospects of QCA in the field of journalism and communication. Based on these steps, we finally introduce its operation steps and hope to bring this method to more research on journalism and communication, therefore our methodology will be expanded and enriched.
