Abstract

In the early years of the Republic of China, telegraph, telephone, rotary printing, photography, fax and other communication technology had made great progress, and the use of these technologies effectively promoted the development of the journalism ideas such as comprehensiveness, timeliness , truth and objectivity from the outside to the inside and from the shallow to the deep. In turn,these ideas affected the application and popularization of communication technology in the field of journalism. The interaction of technology and ideas promoted the progress of the newspaper industry in the early years of the Republic of China, and accelerated the process of modernization of press in China.
