Abstract

From the perspective of “interpretive community”, this study analyzes several news organizations’ annual review awards and awarding citation, comment planning, and some wellknown commentators’ summaries on their Wechat accounts by the end of 2015. The study explores commentators’ interpretive practices, aiming to figure out how they interpreted the contradiction between speech restriction and free speech, how they established review criteria on mobile media platform, and the discourse strategies they used ,the value divisions they had during strengthening identities and constructed communities.
