Abstract

This paper reviews the history of television broadcasting in China using the framework of “the bias of communication”, with emphasis in analyzing how technology, as a constructive force, shapes television media in both temporal and spatial dimensions. Thus, this paper aims to provoke thinking on the development of Chinese television broadcasting in the new media environment.
