Abstract

Journalistic professionalism is in a dilemma of “desirability and acquirability” since it was introduced into China. Taking Deleuzism approach as method, this paper is to re-understand and re-elaborate the production and the track of change of journalistic professionalism in the context of China with a perspective of post-structuralism and cultural study. As ramification of the fold of symbolic resources movement, “becoming”, “nomad” and anti-thought are the basic characteristics of Chinese journalistic professionalism, which also means an experiment or practice of freedom spirit. When journalistic professionalism is discussed, a Deleuzism approach implies the most important is not representation or normalization, but to inspire the different thinking about Chinese reality. And it can urge people to find, connect and create different flight lines and possible spaces in practice.
