Abstract

In 2014, the immoral behaviors of news media have triggered exceptionally escalating negative public opinions with significantly increased cases of intensified opposing opinion field. With respect to these "Problematic Reports", experts, scholars and media peers have all left reflective comments while the existing research approaches and results failed to give a systematic and detailed representation of the specific problems and reflective comments on the abnormal reports in the cyberspace by professional media. The paper selects out some hot issues subjecting to widespread skepticism and criticism reported by professional media in 2014, constructs a hot-data-based reflection list of news media of 2014, and sorts out the reported issues and reflective comments of various parties from such aspects as reporting method, role positioning, professionalism and media ethics, meanwhile, it proposes the concrete solutions and improvement recommendations based on the reflective comments.
