Control the Differences: The Market Logic of TV Format
As a kind of TV program production knowledge, TV format can be applied to the TV program production in different countries and regions through the localization process combining with the social culture of target market, and the global flow and market development of TV format also is the process of localization. The rise of TV format reflects an adjustment of the transnational media in the era of globalization that is absorbing the particularity and difference of various local cultures through localization of production to open up global television market and realize the goal of capital proliferation.
