On June 3, 2014, Professor Robert G Picard arrived at the School of Journalism, Renmin University of China, had a friendly conversation with professor Yu Guoming and the teachers and PhD students of the faculty of Advertising and Media Economics. The conversation was about the hot topics of the “2014 World Media Economics & Management Conference”, the main research project of the Reuters Institute of Oxford and the future development of the world media economics including the form of media economics, the mix business model of new media, the data journalism, the machine news production and the on-demand media content etc.
