The Impact of Leadership Style on Ratings Performance: Using ETTV as an Example from Taiwan

Abstract

From 2004 to 2013, ETTV experienced two leaders, the ratings performance from the second into the last one, in 2013 and rose to first place, is associated with leadership style during the past 10 years. This paper use emotional intelligence leadership style to explore the differences ETTV leaders, found that visionary, democratic and affiliated leadership style is main reason for increase in performance ratings. Commanding leadership style is the reason behind the performance.
