Abstract

Propaganda discourse as a non-mandatory means utilized by the political elites to strengthen their legitimacy has been born with the mystery. However, with the transformation of the society and technology, the mystery of authority, seriousness and reality on propaganda discourse has been taken off due to the distrust on political legitimacy and the expansion of power on netizens’ interpretation. The paper argues that netizens tend to disenchant political news photos by using entertaining and orgiastic methods and ignoring the given context. Although the purpose of disenchantment is legitimate, it is also easy to be caught in risk of nothingness and polarization if in an improper way.
