Abstract

The study  focus on the case of  Sina microblogs spreading around the topic of    “Beijing taxi fare adjustment”. By the content analysis method, the paper tries to evaluate whether the micro-blog content is deliberative on the following criteria: the  representativeness and equilibrium of  participant  pool,  suf?ciency and interactivity of  information, and the in?uence of  micro-blog. Based  on the descriptive statistics,it  comes to conclusion that micro-blog    facilitated the public expression, but because of  the low-level representativeness  and equilibrium, lacking discourse,  and gloomy influence,  it  is hard       to say the micro-blog content is high deliberative.  By  now, it seems that the microblog is full of self-expression,but lacking of communication based on willing to listen, understanding and thinking which lead to mutual agreement.
