Abstract

In the new media environment, the multi-screen development has become a new trend in television industry, which has an important impact on TV programs assessment. Rating is the "common currency" of TV market but its effect has declined, and the introduction of multi-screen indicator is imperative in television programs evaluation index system. As the relationship between original index and new index is very important, this article, using content analysis and in-depth interviews and taking the hit TV series for example, launches to explore the relationship of ratings between online and underline, and analyzes the affecting factors of the network ratings, the purposes of which are to promote to construct a new television programs evaluation system and to help the the audio-visual media’s business development in the multi-screen environment.
