Changes and Reflections on Features of the Crisis Faced by China Government 10 Years after SARS
10 years after SARS, with the impact of new media technologies, the generation of postmodern psychology and the advance of social transformation, China government is facing deep changes on social crisis. It’s too simple to handle the crisis purely by improving the system of “Yi An San Zhi”which was set especially for event crisis. After the research on 65 typical events, three significant changes were found about the crisis management in China government: the 1st change is transmutation of the crisis factors from external ones to internal ones; the 2nd one is transmutation from event crisis to constructional crisis and the 3rd one is transmutation from management crisis to trust crisis. According to these changes mentioned above, we had some reflections and suggestions on how to help China government to improve the ability of crisis management.
