Drama Serials Purchasing in China

Abstract

Competitive alliances on drama serials purchasing refer to alliances constructed by those TV stations
that have a common market. This paper considers the six factors that involving in partner selection: resource
complementarity, resource integrations, win-win benefits, culture compatibility, consistence of strategic
goals, and partner’s reliability. A model of weighted summation of estimated value of these six factors is
used to get the maximum, which, will be the best potential alliance partner.
