On the Concept of "Aura" Proposed by Walter Benjamin
Based on the text analysis of Walter Benjamin’s works, this paper restudies the concept of "aura",
which is a unique perception model mixed with Freud’s free association and Proust's involuntary
memory. "Aura" initiates Benjamin's media technology and cultural criticism, and has its epistemology
significance in media cultural theory even today.
