Abstract

Different from “legal ?ght and reasonable ?ght” of network protest  in  western world,    the network protest in China displays the way of  ?ghting with       force and death. It is mainly restricted by the resource allocation and participation channel. Anger, sadness, sarcasm and others play the important role in the development of event.Therefore, network-protest in China on some degree does not follow the logic of rationality, but follow the logic of emotion and sympathy. Rumor is mostly used in the sympathy arousing mechanism. The interaction between rumors and sympathetic resonance run through the whole network protest process in China.
