Abstract

This paper explores the characteristics of public space in network of China from technological to political aspects. It argues that the public space in network of China is the result of cooperation between traditional media and new media and it is influenced by journalistic professionalism. The ideal model for the public space network is to explore and create a deliberative democracy system between government and the public. The paper also holds the view that the limitations of the public space network in China mainly caused by the limitations of its component.
