Abstract

 

This article analyzed the competitive advantages of Dubai Media City, the emergent media clusters under the “Diamond Model” framework. The study found out that Dubai media city owns advantages of geographical locations, basic infrastructures andhuman resources under the influence of government investment-friendly policies. Dubai media develops rapidly, and there is broad market space in local content production, advertising and new media. Dubai media city enhances the interaction with enterprises, and the whole industrial programming follows the principle of collaborative development. Though still facing the problem of policy and culture shock, all these still make Dubai media city an industrial center with high competitive advantages.
